Please contact Valley Farm a day or two before your holiday and let us know your expected arrival time. Feel free to ask us any questions you need to know or any you may have during your stay. Please inform us straight away of anything is not working or of any breakages so we can endeavour to fix any problems/replace items as soon as possible.
What you need to bring
Please bring your normal holiday items and beach towels as these are not provided as standard (a pack of two beach towels can be hired for £5 a week), also items such as cling film, kitchen foil, shampoo, shower gel etc.
We have many fabulous shops nearby including locally renowned Millers Farm Shop, Hurfords, (the village shop opposite our property) and a garage selling papers on the A35. Only two 2 miles away is the Market Town of Axminster where you will find a Co-op and Tesco. Should you wish to order ahead, Sainsbury and Tesco Online deliver to our area.
If you wish to arrange a grocery delivery for the afternoon of your arrival, please let us know and we will happily pop it into your kitchen for you. Guests travelling in directly from abroad, we are happy to arrange an order for you if you give us, in advance, the order in detail. Simply pay us on arrival.

Changeover at Valley Farm is a Friday during peak times. Check in is 4.00pm onwards and we kindly request guests vacate the property promptly by 10am, this is to ensure we have time to thoroughly clean each cottage for our next guests.
Off peak we offer long weekend (Friday to Monday) and mid-week (Monday to Friday) as well as weekly stays.
With late availability we can be more flexible with dates, please ask if you fancy a break at short notice, if we can, we would love to accommodate you.
Please let us know if you require additional services such as housekeeping, childminding, bicycle hire, beauty treatments, catering etc. We are delighted to have so many excellent facilities and providers nearby and any advance requests will ensure we can help you receive the services yourequire.
Valley Farm is a perfect base for attending some of the many courses on offer in the area, for example poetry, pottery, River Cottage HQ and Axminster Tools, many of these have information online but require advance booking.
